Airman shot dead at Ratmalana Air Base

An airman attached to the Ratmalana Air Force Base, who was engaged in patrolling duties, has died due to gun shot injuries, SLAF Spokesperson Wing Commander Gihan Seneviratne said.
Seneviratne added that an inquiry has been launched to further probe the incident.
