President to visit Central Bank

President Maithripala Sirisena is planning to take an inspection tour to Central Bank of Sri Lanka this morning. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is also expected to join President Sirisena on this inspection tour which is scheduled for 11.30 a.m. this morning.
The inspection tour takes place amidst over 90 members signed motion being handed over to the Speaker for a parliamentary debate to remove incumbent Governor Arjuna Mahendran who has been accused in controversial treasury bond issuance.
