Another murder in Kotahena

A 33 year old man has been stabbed to death at Jampettah Street, Kotahena by a group of four unidentified assailants who arrived in a three-wheeler.
Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said the victim was released on bail a month ago in connection with a case against him. He said the man had been charged with murder, robbery and the possession of a hand grenade.
ASP Gunasekara added that the suspect had allegedly killed a brother of one of the suspects which has led the police to believe that this was an act of personal vengeance. He added that the suspect have been identified by the police.
