Australia beat Sri Lanka by 137 runs in the first test match played in Hobart, Australia.
The Australians scored 450 and 278 runs with Sri Lanka succumbing to a potent fast bowling attack to 336 and 255 runs respectively.
Peter Siddle was named as the man of the match after a match bag of 9 wickets. Australia lead the 3 match series 1-0.
