Basil Rajapaksa arrested by FCID

Former Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa, was arrested once again by the Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID).
The former Minister was arrested on charges of misappropriation of Divi Neguma funds, an official said. He will be produced before a Magistrate this afternoon.
Basil Rajapaksa is to be produced before courts today.

This drama has become a joke.
These guys are in and out remand prison through a revolving door.
These events will lead to an eventual return to power of the Rajapaksas.
If the majority of the population desires that to happen, I will go along as well.
Arrested again? Spend time in 5 ***** Hospital for few days and will be released. When he will be sentenced and put in jail? How long this show will be staged?
Seems like the only thing that this regime is doing consistently is to imprison the Rajapakse Clan and release them a few days later. This is now getting on the nerves of the general public because evev ignorant Sri Lankans who believed all the bullshit that was fed to them prior to elections know that this is a way to take away the focus from the mess the country is in.
Take a walk around Colombo and the suburbs and see how filthy the pace is. If a simple basic task like keeping the country clean can not be achieved then how can these jokers do any thing right. It is a shame the way the streets of Colombo and the suburbs looks like now a days. Hats of to the Rajapakse’s for their efforts to keep Sri Lanka clean and beautiful.
This Government reall thinks the people in Sri Lanka are idiots. The people voted them to power, but this deadly mistake will be never made again. It is time Mahinda and Gothabaya come back to power, they should really be active now. Give the people enough to eat, if an y food left over, keep it in the fridge, you can eat it anytime. This is not stealing.
What sort of justice system is this. It comes to the same old thing. Our doctors, engineers, judges just memorize the books and pass these worthless exams, but have no common sense at all. God bless them.
