Cricket: Jayasuriya joins Air Force SC

Former Sri Lanka skipper turned politician, Sanath Jayasuriya, has switched to Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) cricket team during the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Premier Cricket Tournament which is in progress.
Jayasuriya left his long-standing club, the Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club after announcing his retirement from international cricket earlier this year.
Jayasuriya joined his team mates at practices at Rifle Green in Colombo on Friday.
A SLAF official confirmed that Jayasuriya will play for Air Force in their upcoming match against Sri Lanka Ports Authority on Monday (12).
SLAF participates in the SLC Premier tournament from the segment ‘B’.
