INTER-PARLIAMENTARY UNION TO MONITOR COURT PROCEEDINGS OF SARATH FONSEKA

A group of representatives of the Inter-Parliamentary Union is scheduled to visit the country to monitor court proceedings related to Sarath Fonseka.
This was revealed by UNP MP Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena at a media briefing held today.
“A positive response was received today to a request made after facts were submitted to the Human Rights Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. The Human Rights Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Union informed us in writing that a group of monitors will arrive in the island during the first week of June this year, to monitor the cases related to General Sarath Fonseka that are being considered in Sri Lankan court. We see this as being extremely important,” said Jayawardena.

Who cares about the IPU? They are toothless and is patronised by bankrupt political parties such as the UNP.
We have a brand new Chief Justice who will ensure justice is meted out to all and sundry in consultation with the executive arm of Government.
The Courts have already been given a slap in the face. They ordered the Army training program for uni entrants to be scrapped. The taxpayer ahs spent millions of rupees formulating the training program and who the hell are the Judges to order a stoppage.
Mahinda Chinthanaya is on a roll and nothing can stop it on its journey.

The so-called IPU of Britain can visit SL as tourists but not interfere in the legal proceedings against a traitor who betrayed his own army he commanded and his motherland. Let them visit Abu Grahib and Guantanamo Bay, the extra territorial torture chambers of USA, to clamour for the rights of terrorists.
JJ is another traitor who cavorted with LTTE leadership slavishly and shamelessly in the height of their killings and destructions of the motherland. He betrayed the motherland to the enemy. The evidence is there glaringly. In any other country, including USA, he would have been charged with treason and shot. There are several such traitors in UNP who need to be rounded-up as traitors and shot, along with their leader. They are 5th columnists. We should not tolerate them any longer.
We are fortunate to have such a charismatic and heroic leader in Hon Mahinda Rajapaksa. He is guided by the teachings of Lord Buddha, which are universal truths. The Mahinda Chintanaya embodies the spirit of Buddhism. Our country can develop on fast track on MC. The draw backs are the enemies within such as TNA, JVP and UNP. Now that the LTTE is rid-of and the country is raising its head, the enemy within is working hand-in-glove with the imperial West and diaspora LTTE, to either resurrect LTTE terrorism from dying embers or seek to bulldoze their way to implement a so-called 13th ammendment plus imposed on us by arrogant India who looks down on us as their colony, inorder to divide and subvert the country. The Hon President is working hard to forge a united SL to face the economic storms ahead faced by the world today. Under MR we will be able to weather these storms and rise up victorious. Our draw-back is the enemy within, the puppets of the imperial West, who try to subvert the country and keep us under their neo-colonialist heel. They will never be allowed to enrich themselves by robbing us of our resources as they did for 5 centuries in the height of colonial times.
Just as David Milliband and Kouchner were sent packing home by Hon President so should the so-called IPU, who we do not recognise. Keep their filthy hands off our sovereign nation. We are no longer a hegemony of British raj.
Evil doers within SL and outer all may do what they can but SL is protected by the nature of Dhamma & sooner or laude evil doers will be punished too…!
In his appearence in Court, SF has twisted the truth by false allegations that his archenemy, the Defence Secretary, has concoted the ‘white flag’ story through Fredrica Jansz of Sunday Leader and that the note pads of FZ were actually forged documents, which should not be considered evidence, and that FZ feared for her life if she did not play ball with Def Sec by giving evidence against SF.
What rubbish! SF is now trying to wriggle out of the cast iron case against him with childish lies. He is trying to prove the white wall is black. Let us give him enough rope so that he can hang himself.
The evidence is he approached FZ with this cock and bull story, FZ made notes when she interviewed him, she checked with him before she ran the story, he did not retract his statements after publication despite the hue and cry that followed. He even enjoyed the attention of the media and the publicity and went on to re-iterate the ‘white flag’ story in front of TV cameras which was then aired on TV. He can never deny this evidence. He played to the galleries hoping he will gain more votes thereby to win the presidential election. He threw caution to the winds. He was a bloody idiot with no moral conscience who aspired to be presient. He is now paying his just dues.
SF is proven to his utter shame to be a traitor and a liar. He may play the sick role to drag-on the case hoping for the fall of MR and his govt, so that he can wriggle free. He may even hope for a coup d’etat by his army buddies to topple the govt. He may hope for imperial West to save his skin. But ultimately he will run out of cards to play and will have to pay the ultimate price for his sin of betraying motherlanka and treason. Good riddance!
