Milinda to form Citizens Advisory Committees

Election campaigns throughout the country has got intensified as there is only two more weeks for the local government elections to be conducted in 23 local government bodies
Meanwhile, a meeting was held in Dematagoda yesterday, to ensure the victory of the United People’s Freedom Alliance candidates contesting for the Colombo Municipal Council. The Mayoral Candidate Milinda Moragoda speaking at this meeting said that people’s assistance will be obtained for the administration of the City. He said that Citizen’s Advisory Committees will be established on Grama Niladhari Divisions to obtain people’s assistance. He explained that the Academics, Professionals, and representatives of Civil Organizations will be included in these committees.
