Minor earth tremor reported in Beruwala

A minor earth tremor of Magnitude 3.7 on the Richter scale was reported in the seas, 24 km off the coast of Beruwala at around 01:00 PM this afternoon (March 30).
The Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB) have, however, confirmed that there is no tsunami threat from the earth tremor reported in the Beruwala seas.
