New Bill to strengthen laws against illegal fishing

A Bill to further strengthen the legal framework against illegal fishing methods including bottom trawling will be tabled in Parliament today (6th July), said Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development and State Minister of Maheweli Development Mahinda Amaraweera yesterday.
