Price of imported milk powder increased

The price of imported milk powder has been increased by Rs. 15 per kilogram and Rs. 5 per 400g packet from midnight yesterday, the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) said.

Well, maybe this has been done without a ‘magic-formula’. With this price of a Tea-cup will increase. Do we really need this milk-powder? What about locally produced Milk powder is that too gone up? We import sick cows from Auz and our local dairy industry has gone down. Current Yaha Palanaya government’s import orientated economic policy is to be blamed. Sri Lanka is going down the drain.
