As usual, UriNePee is in a utter state of confuion – in one instance the statement says Sajith is the “Leader of the UNP-led alliance and the Prime Ministerial candidate” and at another instance it says “UNP Working Committee has decided to continue with Ranil Wickremesinghe as the party leader” !!!
Wow, I think it takes a special PhD to figure out what the F’..lipping hell is going on with this party that has fallen from grace to this gutter level!
This, undeniably, has all to do with the loss of basic patriotic/national values that this party started losing from the times of admirable Senanayakas (where such values were at an apex) down to where they are today, i.e. eroded down to what we see in Ponil and his corrupt (and unpatriotic) clan (i.e. even willing to give rabid Tamileelamists their separate state, of course without calling it by that name!) and with Sajith having no prayer in hell of winning the last Prez election and nor the upcoming General Elections!
This is the party in which we had, and still have, Mongreli saying “Sri Lanka is not a Buddhist Sinhalese country” at the time of lead up to the last Prez elections, essentially nailing down coffin on Sajith’s bid to be even a marginally-able opponent to Gota, who won hands down! Of course, Ponil loved that slogan as it it had high appeal to/with his Tamileelamist and Jihadist brothers!
Truly sad to see what happened to the for the admirable UNP, which is now better branded as the UriNePee (UNP)!
The 2/3rd Majority for Pohottu will be realised without any effort.
