Sajith Premadasa to contest for Presidency
Posted in Local News
Sri Lanka’s Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa says that he will contest for the Presidency.
In a tweet, Opposition Leader Premadasa mentioned that though it is an uphill struggle, he is convinced that truth will prevail.
Previously, Parliamentarian Dullas Alahapperuma expressed interest in contesting for the Presidency from Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), although the party consensus remains divided.
God help Sri Lanka.
Fair enough as you are the Leader of the Opposition, with the most number of 2nd-next seats party in the parliament. However, all along this ‘aragalaya’ you have shown IDIOCY – and not leadership – beyond belief and it would be another highly-risky ‘untested waters’ to put you in the Prez’s chair!
That said, the ones that give us the heebie-jeebies even at the thought of (in Prez’s chair) are:
AKD JVP – An opportunistic, power-hungry weasel with no articulated strategy for SL’s resuscitation except keeps waiving ‘Rajapaksa corruption files’ at meetings but never hands them over to the AG or the CID. It would be a certainty that he would confiscate even honest, hard earned wealth from rich and middle class, just to win brownie points with the lazy bums in the country. Besides, his party was rejected by voters at the last GE, bring his seats to a mere 3 from earlier paltry figure of 6
Sarath Fonny aka Phoney – Mr. White Flag idiot who cast SL to grave difficulties with his loose-cannon foul mouth, a mouth that delivers filthy words super fluency! Besides, no education other than military record and likely would brutally interfere in all areas of government personally to suit his idiotic views and if we thought Gota was inept, this hot tempered man would be a dictator who would drive us below ground level to absolute Hell! In any case, a US GreenCard holder, he was personally rejected by the voters at the last GE and only crept into the parliament through the ludicrous ‘national list’ backdoor!
Agree with you Horst,
None displayed leadership towards the ‘System Change’ that was demanded.
They were just playing the ‘broken record’, old fashioned, disgraceful partisan politics, falsely claiming they can provide solutions while they had none.
