Shooting kills a sailor at Mohottuwarama Navy Base

A Petty officer of the Sri Lanka Navy has been shot dead and two other sailors injured when a fellow sailor opened fire at them over a personal dispute at the Mohottuwarama Navy Base in Kalpitiya, the navy spokesman said.
The sailor who opened fire had fled the scene and the reason behind the shooting is yet to be determined.
Sri Lanka Navy has launched further investigations into the shooting.
