MELBOURNE, Australia (AP)—Sri Lanka beat Australia by nine runs to reach at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday to reach the tri-series finals.
Sri Lanka: 238 (Dinesh Chandimal 75, Kumar Sangakkara 64, Lahiru Thirimanne 51; Dan Christian 5-31, James Pattinson 4-51)
Australia: 229 (49.1 overs) (David Hussey 74, Shane Watson 65; Lasith Malinga 4-49)

I am so glad and relieved that SL does not face India for the finals, because the result would be a win for India, not through skill but through corruption.
I hope SL can beat Australia convincingly in the 3 finals. Our fielding and bowling has to improve. Also the tail-enders should be coached to bat properly, unlike the stupid way Malinga faced Australian bowling. Surely, he can bat better than that.
