Sri Lanka’s Cabinet Ministers decide not to obtain salaries for this year

The Sri Lankan Cabinet of Ministers have decided to serve without salaries for this year.
The relevant proposal has been presented by Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, after taking into account the present situation of the country.
Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Bandula Gunawardena said the decision was made at the meeting of Cabinet of Ministers yesterday (June 06).

Of course who want to be paid with worth less toilet paper called Rupees. When IMF grant a loan to sustain some value to this sinking Rupee ,then we will demand to be paid.
