Indian External Affairs Minister calls on President

Indian External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj, who arrived in Sri Lanka Friday on a two-day official visit, called on Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday evening at his Wijerama Residence.
Swaraj, during her visit to the island from 6th to 7th March, will hold discussions with Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera on matters of mutual bilateral interest as well as on arrangements relating to the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 13th March.
Modi’s visit will be the first by an Indian Prime Minister since 1987.
