Swiss Embassy staffer taken to National Mental Health Institution

Swiss Embassy local staffer, Garnier Banister Francis, who is in the remand custody, was taken to the National Institute of Mental Health, Angoda this morning.
Francis has been named a suspect for a case of exciting disaffection against the Government and fabricating false evidence to be used in a future judicial proceeding.
She was remanded on December 16 for providing fabricated statements to the CID.

I say the whole Swiss embassy and the other Swiss owned properties in Colombo must be convert to a grand, internationally renowned, mental health institution for the betterment of all humanity! After all, what great diplomatic service is the Swiss presence performing in SL today – other than of course defending evident criminals (i.e. ones who are proven to fabricate stories about crimes, crimes that never occurred!) and acting as the front for the Swiss govt/system that has now declared “LTTE is not a terrorist organization?”

Thank you Ms. Dorine. The woman in question does not have diplomatic status and she is a Sri Lankan. She tried a cheap trick and staged this to get into Switzerland or she has been used to discredit the present regime. Swiss government declared LTTE is not a terror outfit due to Tamil diaspora and LTTE never killed any Swiss national. The main problem is some folks think they are supper brilliant (have a high IQ) and live in a fools paradise!
