Two die in fire at Wellawatte apartment complex

Two people were killed due to a sudden fire that engulfed an apartment complex in Wellawatte early morning today. The fire had started in the fourth floor of the building which is situated down the 37th lane in Wellawatte.
Kalubowila hospital sources state that the victims, a man and a woman suspected to be father and daughter had succumbed to their injuries when they were brought to the hospital.
