UC Opposition Leader dies while addressing council

The Opposition Leader of the Kolonnawa Urban Council, Chandrasiri Dias has died while addressing the council today.
It was reported that Dias was addressing the council this morning when he suddenly collapsed. He was rushed to the Colombo National Hospital where he passed away.
The cause of death has not been revealed yet while the body of the former Chairman and current Opposition Leader of the Kolonnawa Urban Council has been placed at the hospital’s mortuary.
