UPEKSHA SWARNAMALI HOSPITALISED AFTER BEING ASSAULTED

Parliamentarian and actress Upeksha Swarnamali has been hospitalised after being assaulted.
Police said there were injuries to her face.
She had come to her residence in Mirihana last night along with her husband and according to Daya Samaraweera DIG in charge of the Greater Colombo area, she had sustained the injuries during an assault there.
Police have taken steps to record a statement from Swarnamali on the incident.
“Ms. Swarnamai is receiving in-house treatment,” said Dr. D. R. Gamage, Director of the Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital

I don’t think it makes any difference. She just physically exists. Nothing as quality, wisdom, ethics, common sense etc. So who worries that somebody pummels on a puppet?
