UPFA wins Anuradhapura District

United People’s Freedom Alliance won the Polonnaruwa District with 234,387 votes (62.71%). They have secured 13 seats in the results of polls.
United National Party managed only 126,184 votes (33.76%) and has secured 7 seats in the final results of the polls. The People’s Liberation Front took only 11,684 (3.13%) with 1 seat secured.
The total number of valid votes is 373,782 and rejected votes were 18,218 making the total polled 392,000.
