Body of elderly woman found near Hakmana bus depot

The body of a woman who died under suspicious circumstances was found in the Hakmana area last night (August 19) near the bus depot.

The body was discovered near a road crossing while the police had handed over the body to the Gangodagama hospital.

The victim was a 76 year old resident of the Hakmana area while the cause of death has still not been determined.
