Namal Rajapaksa appears before the Bribery Commission

SLPP National Organiser and Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa arrived at the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) this morning (September 4) over an investigation linked to the acquisition of Airbus aircraft for SriLankan Airlines.
Rajapaksa appeared before the Commission following a summons issued by CIABOC, which had instructed him to be present at 9:00 AM today.
He was summoned in connection with ongoing investigations into alleged bribes linked to the acquisition of a wide-body aircraft fleet for SriLankan Airlines.
Further details regarding the questioning have not yet been released.
