I will support a political solution decided by the Parliament, President Mahinda Rajapaksa said a short while ago while addressing Media heads at Temple Trees.
The President said this when questioned on why a political solution for the minorities had been delayed.
He also stated that it was the responsible of the Parliament to come up with a durable political solution.
Discussing the University teacher salaries the President said that he cannot grant a Rs.200,000 salary as it was not in the public service structure.
Northern Provincial Council elections will be held next year, the President further stated.

This is the appropriate forum to consolidate the “TN solution” about which I have been writing in these columns.
We should tap into the kindness of Big Mama’s heart and implement the “mass expatriation of KT’s” proposal to satiate the barking dogs of the west.
Can I as a private citizen introduce the TN Solution as motion in Parliament?
