Sri Lankan Police officer joins the protest in Maharagama

A Sri Lankan Police officer joined the protesters in the Maharagama area today (July 09).
The Police officer stopped his official police motorcycle on the side of the road in the Maharagama area and took off his helmet and expressed his support to the protestors who were walking.
The Police officer chanted slogans saying “Victory to the struggle” and the protesters gathered around him.

We need a new country.New system.No dual citizens to hold any govt post.Only educated members in parliament.with at least a university degree from Lanka or abroad. Fifty percent seats in Parliament for women .Equal rights for all.Justice for all.Sc hool children should be taught AgricultureWe need a youth army to engage in devolopment.Age for members of Parliament should be between 18 to 60 yrs. All members of Parliament from 2005 up to date should declare their assets Any excess of money unreasonbly high compared with their lawful income should be considered as proceeds from bribery and court cases.must be flied against themWe need to close down all govt corps and compamies running at losses.We need accounts for all govt projects and foreign loans from 2005 up to date.Hoping for a better tomorrow.God Bleess Sri Lanka
