Veteran film director Dr. Lester James Peiris passes away

Internationally acclaimed Sri Lankan film producer and film director Dr. Lester James Peiris has passed away at the age of 99.
He passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Colombo.
He was born in 1919 and celebrated his 99th birthday on April 5. He was considered as the World’s most senior film producer and director.
