The COVID-19 death toll in Sri Lanka climbed to 850 with 23 more deaths being confirmed by the Director-General of Health Services, the Government Information Department said.

The government has decided to close all wine stores and liquor shops by 6.00 pm daily, Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said.
