Lohan Ratwatte’s wife further remanded until December 2, 2024

Former Minister Lohan Ratwatte’s wife, Shashi Prabha Ratwatte, has been further remanded until December 2, 2024, after being produced before the Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court today (November 22).
They were arrested on charges of using a luxury vehicle (a Lexus SUV) that was illegally imported and assembled in Sri Lanka.
Lohan Ratwatte had previously been further remanded in custody until December 2, 2024, while his wife was remanded until November 22, 2024, after they were produced before the Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court on November 18, 2024.
