Sri Lanka is struggling to raise $587 million to pay for about half a dozen fuel shipments, a top minister said on Sunday as the cash-strapped country tries to cope with its worst financial crisis in decades.

All Government and Government approved schools in Sri Lanka will be closed from 04th July to 08th July, 2022, the Ministry of Education said.

Four fuel shipments are expected to arrive in Sri Lanka this month, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera said.
