Hizbullah’s comments unacceptable – PM

To prevent anarchy Mahinda Rajapaksa calls for snap polls

Salley claims Gota worked closely with Thowheed Jamaath

Former Governor of the Western province Azath Salley yesterday told the Parliamentary Select Committee probing the Easter Sunday carnage that former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa had worked closely with Sri Lanka Thowheed Jamaath, which was one of the organisations responsible for the April 21 attacks.











Price of Petrol 92 Octane hiked

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) has decided to increase the price of Petrol 92 Octane by Rs 3.00 per litre, with effect from midnight today (10), the Ministry of Finance announced.
