FCID questions Gotabaya

Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa has arrived at the FCID on Tuesday (20) morning. Rajapaksa has been asked to visit the FCID for questioning regarding the controversial MiG deal and a share issuance by Lanka Hospitals.

Colombo National Hospital Deputy Director Dr. Cyril de Silva yesterday confirmed that former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa was taken to the Cardiology Unit for several tests on Monday.




ITJP seeks info about 110 surrendered Tamil Tigers

Road to be named after Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka

The road linking Ananda Mawatha and Ketawalamulla Road in Colombo 10 is to be named after Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka today by the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) in recognition of his dedicated service for the protection of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
