Body of missing businessman found in swimming pool

Roshan Wanninayake, 49-year-old businessman from Wellampitiya who had been missing since January 30, 2023 was found dead in a swimming pool of a three-storied building owned by him today (February 02), which is under construction at Pelawatte, Thalangama.



Chief Prelates say NO to the Implementation of 13A

Ceylon Electricity Board gives undertaking to Supreme Court on power cuts

Sri Lanka’s Catholic Church to boycott 75th Independence Day Celebrations

Neither the Cardinal, Bishops nor any representative from Sri Lanka’s Catholic Church would participate in the 75th Independence Day celebrations, on Saturday (February 04), as it is a ‘crime’ and waste of funds that is being committed against the citizens of Sri Lanka, Spokesman for the Archdiocese of Colombo, Rev.
